The Amazing Ride With Lance

Over the past three years Lance Armstrong and the Ride With Lance has come to the Kitchener-Waterloo region and raised over $3,000,000 for the Grand River Regional Cancer Center.  As a thank-you to Lance, I was commissioned to create a print commemorating the ride.  This turned out to be a fun opportunity to do something special and show the passion for cycling and some of the iconic scenery in the Waterloo region.

I ended up settling on doing a triptych, because there were so many things to convey in the print.  The final print was made using Canson Rag Photgraphique 310gsm paper and printed with Piezography inks.

To help in the fund-raising a second print, autographed by Lance, was made that raised $3,000 at the silent auction for the event.  I also donated one of my large 6 foot panoramics, Halton Falls, that raised an additional $7,000 for the charity.
